Fyrrverandi Mossad agent

Samkv. frétt í times fyrr á árinu hafði hún þó nokkurt hlutverk og var nefnt "terrorista veiðimaður" í Evrópu:

"The frontrunner to become Israel’s next prime minister, Tzipi Livni, was a Paris agent for Mossad, Israel’s overseas intelligence agency, in the early 1980s when it ran a series of missions to kill Palestinian terrorists in European capitals, according to former colleagues."

Þessu var síðar mótmælt og sagt að hún hefði ekki gengt mikilvægu hlutverki hjá Mossad.  Og þá var það orðið þannig að hún hefði aðeins verið ráðin og send til Parisar til að íbúðin stæði ekki auð:

"Livni, according to Hasson, was hired to live in a Paris apartment simply so that the property would not remain empty. Intelligence agencies customarily hire low level agents to man apartments abroad so as not to raise municipalities' suspicions in case the properties remain abandoned and unused."
