Voðaverk ofsaislams minnir á hugmyndafræði rússnesku ofsaníhílistanna í Rússlandi á 19.öld.

Minnir á það.  Það er þetta attitjút,  að þeir sem vinna voðaverkin kötta sig frá öllum lögum og reglum eða félagslegum normum.  Tilgangurnn helgar meðalið.  Fjarlægt óáþreyfanlegt markmið er réttlætingin.  Tilgangurinn er eyðandi, skapa upplausn, niðurbrot o.s.frv..  Sláandi líkindi í afstöðunni, finnst mér.
